I think this heat is killing me. I’m very tired, so I’m gonna make today’s post short. I came into the school this morning to find Bill had gotten the Airport working. The rest of the day was spent installing software updates on the entire lab. It doesn’t sound to bad, but when you’re going through inferior hardware, it takes forever. A good portion into the day, we figured out all we were plugged into was a 10baseT hub. Anyone with some networking knowledge knows it doesn’t get worse than that. After rerouting some wires, we were in at 100Mbit. It made an improvement, but things still moved slow. I got out of there about an hour later than I normally do and all the computers weren’t even done yet. I let them run their updates overnight so they all should be ready to go in the morning.
My parents were nice enough to foot the bill on a $130 brake job on my van. I’m very thankful. Hopefully it’s one of the few things I’ll have to maintain on it for awhile because I’m very broke.
I got my hands on Avenged Sevenfold’s new album Waking the Fallen a week before it’s release. If you like metal or screamo, definately pick up this album when it comes out next Tuesday. You can check out my review in the Music section. I’ve also managed to find Ill Nino’s new album Confession this week. Look for a review in the coming days. Let me just say that one word I’ll be saying over and over about this album is “amazing.”
