This is really sad. I don’t remember exactly when it was that I installed Wordpress 2 (which is when Askimet was added to Wordpress), but that’s a lot of junk it’s caught. Go Askimet!

I haven’t been getting as slammed since I had a front page on my domain, and removed the RSS feed from it. I think there’s been about a half dozen since I made that change.
Akismet has protected your site from 155 spam comments.
I’m posting since 2006-05-26. I have not only Akismet installed to fight against spam. I also use BadBehavior, Spam-Karma 2, my own Comments-Post-Rewriter plugin and many other.
Since then no spam appears on my weblog.
But my guestbook (PR 0!) was attacked several hundred times with spam since I installed it (also some month again). I guess politics cannot stop them. Plugins like the above I wrote may do so but only as a combination and not stand-alone.

Hate to jynx myself, but since moving my blog and rss feed off the index of my domain, I still haven’t been hit… *knocks on wood*
