I don’t know what’s more pathetic; Apple blaming fat people for it’s problems or the fact that there is an association for fat people.
It is not a design issue. It has more to do with obese Americans in tight pants putting the nano in their front jeans pocket, and then sitting for extended periods of time.

Not having dealt with major labels myself, I can’t validate this information, but to my knowledge it is mostly true. I’m sure not every band follows the same formula, but I can imagine it is this bad. I know for a fact unless you sell 400,000 to 500,000 records, you are in the red. You owe the record label. This is the sad state of music today. This is why the RIAA insists on sueing thousands of people. They’re protecting their unfair practices and getting away with it.
Time and time again we hear that the real reason for the RIAA’s scare tactics and lobbying is the welfare of the artists they employ and represent. Here’s a breakdown where a band not only isn’t paid much but actually ends up owing money.

This guy brings up some pretty interesting points on music distribution. Why should consumers have to wait for an arbitrary release date (retail release date that is) when music could be made available online as soon as production is finished? I doubt we’ll ever hear any kind of statement from the RIAA on this.

I’ve completely gotten into Digg.com lately. One of the coolest features it supprots is blog posting. Basically I click a link and the Digg news story gets posted here. Cool huh!? This news story explains a little bit about how the site works.
Just a quick guide to digg.com. I did this because I was showing this site to friends and I hated explaining myself over and over.
